How We Work

Enable provides the high speed fibre connection between you, the end user, and your preferred retail service provider. 

The retail service providers (internet and phone companies and other technology providers) we work with will deliver the services you require including voice calling, internet, data networking and TV-on-demand services, to name just a few. Once you have chosen the services you require, your retail service provider will work with us to connect your home or business to our fibre network in order to provide you with these services. A single fibre connection has sufficient bandwidth to deliver many different services to a business, and by mid 2012 services will begin to be available to homes in our coverage areas. 

Once the Enable fibre is outside or near your location, you can request services from any of the many  retail service providers Enable works with. Enable’s construction partner for the UFB project is Transfield Services Ltd. Both Enable and Transfield are committed to involving local contractors in the construction of the network where possible.

So it's a real team effort: our fibre network, put in the ground by our partner Transfield, and then used by retail service providers to deliver whatever service you would like to your business or home….over UFB fibre.
